Vitalect's Techniq Platform is flexible and scalable, platform agnostic and standards-based, secure and reliable, modular and customizable. It is a JAVA application that can run on any J2EE-compliant application server and it uses XML/XSL. The database is Oracle 8i, the server operating system is LINUX, and it can run on other UNIX-based systems and on WINDOWS. It includes an application for localization and internationalization of the content, and reporting capabilities for learner data management. Lastly, the learning object model enables the import and export of standards-compliant content to other content delivery systems, giving the content developed in this system much more value to the customer.
