Vitalect - Management

Pran Kurup is Vitalect's Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer. Pran's entrepreneurial spirit is born of a career blended in technology and education. He previously has held management and engineering positions at Cirrus Logic and Synopsys Inc., where he designed integrated circuits and managed and trained semiconductor engineers on design methodology and best practices. A long-time educator, he has taught courses at the University of California at Santa Cruz and is the author of three books on Logic Synthesis and ASIC Design. He holds a B.S in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India and a Masters in Computer Engineering from the University of Miami in Florida. Pran is actively involved in community activities. Pran co-founded the alumni Web site of his alma mater, IIT Kharagpur, is member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE) and previously served as the Chairman of the Silicon Valley Indian Professionals Association (SIPA).

Thyagarajan Vasudevan has been involved with Vitalect's products since inception. He was key to the development of Vitalect's first generation of products and has been instrumental in the evolution of the Vitalect technology platform over the years. Thyagarajan is responsible for the company's product infrastructure and to enhance customer response time. He was able to leverage his prior experience with Siemen's India Operations to help establish Vitalect's India operations, including setup of the technology infrastructure and training for the employees. Thyagarajan holds a B.S in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India. He blends his in-depth understanding of Vitalect's technology platform with his relentless passion for marathons to ensure that the 24x7 hosting service is always operating at its best.

Krishnan Anantheswaran is the chief architect of Vitalect's Techniq Platform and is key to the overall system architecture and the design of the programming framework. A top-notch software developer with a relentless passion for the latest and greatest in technology, Krishnan has also individually implemented several key components of the Vitalect Techniq platform. He has over 15 years experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle spanning a range of sectors, applications and technologies. Krishnan has a keen interest in Java/J2EE technologies, XML-based protocols and Object-Oriented Design methodologies. Prior to Vitalect, he has held key software technology and management positions at Infogain Inc., and Citicorp Software. He holds a B.S in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India. A gifted vocalist and a talented guitarist, Krishnan aspires and strives for his software to be music to users' ears.

Kutty brings 30 years of distinguished science and technology innovation and operations management to Vitalect's India operation. Beginning with a Master's Degree in Nuclear Physics from University of London, Kutty has been recognized for his contributions to the field of electronic components manufacture and development by corporate and public officials alike. Kutty has served at both the Director and Chief Executive level for four different divisions of KELTRON, a leading corporation in India that manufactures a wide range of electronics products from discrete components to sub assemblies to equipment and systems. Today, Kutty brings technology innovation to Vitalect's services operation in India, where the adoption of new interactive, multimedia technology speeds deployment time of Vitalect's custom content for its customers.
